Privacy Policy
Olevo is a calm second opinion when a message, call, screenshot, photo of a letter, or similar content does not feel right. This policy explains what the Olevo iOS app and backend service collect, how that information is used, and what remains if you delete your anonymous service profile. Olevo is provided by Infral Labs LLC. The public Olevo website is hosted at olevo.app, and support is available at olevo@infrallabs.com.
Effective date: May 27, 2026
Information You Choose To Check
Olevo has two check types:
- Private Checks run on your device for pasted text and described phone calls using local scam-pattern rules.
- Detailed Reviews send the content you choose to check to the Olevo backend and to OpenAI for review.
For Detailed Reviews, Olevo may process the message text, call details, screenshot, photo, clarifier answers, and similar context that you choose to provide. The app asks for consent before the first Detailed Review. You can reset that consent choice in Settings by choosing "Ask again before Detailed Reviews." After you reset it, Olevo will ask again before sending anything for the next Detailed Review. OpenAI processes this content so Olevo can return a verdict, reasons, suggested next steps, and extracted text for images when available.
Screenshots and photos require a Detailed Review for full image review. If you do not want to send image content, you can paste or type the visible text and use a Private Check where supported.
Local Data On Your Device
Olevo stores saved check history, notes, trusted contacts, onboarding preferences, Detailed Review consent status, and privacy settings on your device. Saved history keeps shorter redacted previews and related check details in local app storage, and stores full redacted saved text in separate local app files where possible. You can disable saved history, clear saved checked items, and enable 30-day auto-delete in app settings.
Trusted contacts are stored locally so you can remember who you may want to share results with. Olevo does not upload trusted contacts as part of normal app use.
Anonymous Service Profile And Usage Records
Olevo creates an anonymous service profile so the backend can run Detailed Reviews, enforce free and Premium Detailed Review limits, prevent abuse, and keep subscription access working across service sessions. This profile uses random identifiers, including a service subject identifier, a quota principal identifier, access tokens, refresh tokens, a quota credential, and App Attest proof values used to confirm requests come from an authentic Olevo app. The app stores the service credentials and App Attest key reference in the iOS Keychain, while the backend stores server-side hashes and related service records.
The backend stores limited service records linked to the quota principal identifier, such as free Detailed Reviews used, onboarding demo use, Premium monthly Detailed Review usage, entitlement tier, entitlement lookup time, subscription expiration status when available, deleted-profile count, and service-session timestamps, and a server-side hash of the attested app key used for abuse prevention and onboarding demo eligibility.
Olevo may also use anonymized rate limiting and Railway operational logs to protect the service, investigate errors, and prevent abuse.
Olevo does not use these records for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
Product Analytics
Olevo uses TelemetryDeck for privacy-focused product analytics so we can understand which parts of the app are used, where people need help, and whether the app is working as expected.
TelemetryDeck receives limited behavior signals, such as app sessions, onboarding progress, check-flow choices, paywall views, purchase-flow outcomes, history and settings opens, education opens, and whether a check completed or failed. These signals may include a privacy-preserving installation identifier, a session identifier, a rounded timestamp, app version and build, build channel, device model, operating system version, language or region, screen characteristics, and similar technical context added by the TelemetryDeck SDK.
Olevo does not send checked message text, call details, screenshots, photos, notes, trusted contacts, extracted text, result explanation text, or other user-provided check content to TelemetryDeck. Olevo does not use TelemetryDeck for replay, screen recording, keystroke recording, advertising, or tracking you across other companies' apps or websites.
Crash And Error Diagnostics
Olevo uses Sentry for crash reports, serious app hang reports, watchdog termination diagnostics, and limited non-fatal error diagnostics so we can find and fix app stability problems.
Sentry may receive diagnostic details such as a stack trace, app version and build, build environment, timestamp, operating system version, device model, session status, and technical event identifiers. Olevo configures Sentry without default personal information, user identity, screenshots, view hierarchy capture, session replay, profiling, performance tracing, logs, metrics, network failed-request capture, or network URL/header breadcrumbs.
Olevo does not send checked message text, call details, screenshots, photos, notes, trusted contacts, extracted text, result explanation text, or other user-provided check content to Sentry.
Purchases And Subscriptions
Purchases are handled by Apple, with RevenueCat used to confirm Premium access and help Olevo apply the correct Detailed Review limits.
Deleting your Olevo service profile does not cancel Apple subscriptions. If you have an active subscription, manage or cancel it through Apple Subscriptions.
Service Profile Deletion And Retained Records
You can delete your anonymous service profile from Settings. Deletion removes the active anonymous service subject and refresh sessions used to run Detailed Reviews. It does not delete saved checked items, notes, trusted contacts, or preferences on your device; those can be managed separately in Settings.
After service profile deletion, Olevo retains limited quota, subscription, onboarding-demo, and abuse-prevention records linked to the quota principal identifier or server-side App Attest hash. These retained records are used to prevent free Detailed Review abuse, enforce monthly Premium limits, preserve active Premium access, resolve entitlement or billing support issues, and support service security. Olevo keeps these retained records while they are needed for those purposes, including to maintain current subscription access, apply monthly or free Detailed Review limits, investigate misuse, resolve disputes, comply with legal or accounting obligations, and protect the service. When retained records are no longer needed for those purposes, Olevo deletes or de-identifies them. If you continue using Olevo after deletion, the backend creates a new anonymous service subject that remains linked to those retained records.
Photos And Camera
Olevo requests camera access only when you choose to photograph a letter or document for review. It requests photo library access only when you choose a screenshot or image for review.
Third-Party Services
Olevo uses OpenAI for Detailed Reviews, Apple for in-app purchase processing, RevenueCat for subscription entitlement handling, TelemetryDeck for privacy-focused product analytics, and Sentry for crash and error diagnostics. Olevo uses Railway for backend hosting, managed Postgres database storage, managed Redis rate-limit storage, and operational logs needed to run and protect the service.
No Sale Or Tracking
Olevo does not sell your information. The app does not use collected data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
Olevo is not designed to keep your submitted messages or images as part of long-term server-side records after review completes.
Children's Privacy
Olevo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly design the service to collect personal information directly from children through a registration or account-creation flow.
