Terms of Service
These Terms of Service explain the rules for using Olevo and the limits of the service. They reflect the current product state: Private Checks for supported text and call inputs, Detailed Reviews for deeper review, anonymous service profiles, local on-device history, and Apple and RevenueCat subscription handling.
Last updated: May 4, 2026
Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Olevo website and the Olevo iOS app. By accessing or using Olevo, you agree to these Terms.
Olevo is provided by Infral Labs LLC. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.
Description of the service
Olevo is an informational tool that helps people review suspicious messages, calls, screenshots, and photos of letters before they respond.
The app currently offers two review paths. Private Check applies on-device heuristics for supported pasted text and described-call inputs. Detailed Review sends content to the backend and to OpenAI for review and is used for a closer look, including image-based checks.
The app does not require a sign-in or named user account. It stores checked-item history, notes, trusted contacts, and preferences locally on your device while also using limited server-side anonymous service and quota records to manage sessions, usage, onboarding-demo usage, rate limits, and subscription entitlements.
Those anonymous records are based on random technical identifiers rather than your name, email, or a traditional personal account.
Informational only
Olevo provides general informational guidance only. It does not provide legal, financial, investment, tax, medical, emergency, law-enforcement, or other professional advice.
Olevo may highlight suspicious patterns, but it cannot guarantee that any message, caller, sender, payment request, or situation is fraudulent, legitimate, safe, or unsafe.
You remain responsible for your own decisions, including whether to respond, click a link, call back, send money, share personal information, or report a situation. If a matter involves immediate danger, urgent financial risk, suspected criminal conduct, identity theft, medical issues, or law-enforcement concerns, use appropriate official channels instead of relying on Olevo alone.
Your responsibilities and acceptable use
You agree to use Olevo lawfully and responsibly.
- Submit only content you have the right to review, upload, photograph, or describe.
- Do not use the service to harass, threaten, defame, or invade another person's privacy.
- Do not upload unlawful material or use the app in violation of applicable law.
- Do not interfere with the app, misuse the service, or attempt unauthorized access.
- Do not treat Olevo output as a substitute for direct verification with trusted sources.
Detailed Review processing authorization
To provide Detailed Review results, Olevo sends submitted text, images, and call descriptions to the backend and to OpenAI for processing. Before your first Detailed Review, the app asks you to confirm that this may happen.
By using Detailed Review after that disclosure, you authorize Olevo to transmit submitted content for processing on your behalf so the app can explain warning signs and suggest safer next steps.
If you do not want a particular message or call description sent for review, you may choose Private Check when that option is available for the input type.
Subscription and billing
Non-premium users currently receive 7 free Detailed Reviews. Olevo Premium currently includes 65 Detailed Reviews each month. Private Checks remain available for supported text and call inputs without using Detailed Review quota.
If you purchase a subscription through the iOS app, Apple handles billing, payment collection, renewals, cancellations, and refund processes under your App Store account terms. RevenueCat may be used to help manage subscription and entitlement status, and the backend may verify entitlements server-side before granting premium access.
Pricing, included usage, trial offers, and renewal terms displayed in the app or in the App Store at the time of purchase are part of your purchase terms. You are responsible for reviewing those details before subscribing.
Service profile deletion
Settings lets you delete the anonymous service profile and active sessions used for Detailed Reviews. Deleting the service profile does not cancel Apple subscriptions and does not remove saved checked items on your device.
Olevo may retain limited quota and subscription records after service-profile deletion where needed to prevent abuse, enforce free and Premium Detailed Review limits, preserve active Premium access, and support service security.
Those retained records are technical records and are not intended to include your submitted message content, screenshots, photos, personal notes, or trusted contacts.
Intellectual property
Olevo, including its software, design, branding, text, and related materials, is owned by Infral Labs LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the app and website for your personal, non-commercial use.
Disclaimer of warranties
Olevo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Infral Labs LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and availability.
Olevo does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that it will catch every scam, fraud attempt, impersonation effort, or risky interaction.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Infral Labs LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or device content arising out of or related to your use of Olevo.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Olevo's total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for Olevo in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Termination
Olevo may suspend or terminate access to the service if you violate these Terms, misuse the app, create legal risk for Olevo or its service providers, or if the product is changed or discontinued.
You may stop using Olevo at any time. Subscription cancellation is handled through Apple's subscription tools.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are intended to be governed by applicable United States law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Until Infral Labs LLC designates a specific state and venue in an updated version of these Terms, any dispute arising out of or relating to Olevo that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in the United States. If mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere, this section does not limit those rights.
Changes to these terms
Olevo may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will post the updated Terms here with a revised effective date.
Your continued use of Olevo after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
